Stories got a real front door this week: a Content Sources tab, drag-and-drop Kanban triage, and a Quick Capture modal turn inbound links into story material faster. Feedback picked up richer attachments and threaded comments, and KPI cards spread across the Inbox and capability health views. Stories gets a front door

Inbound content used to land wherever it landed. Now Stories has a dedicated Content Sources tab where incoming items and story drafts live in one discoverable place, with a drag-and-drop Kanban triage board, Inbox, Kept, Dropped, for sorting what comes in fast. Quick Capture moved to a persistent header modal so an ad-hoc capture is always one click away instead of cluttering a list.

URL capture also got smarter: it now produces rich link previews and fuller post descriptions, including better LinkedIn handling, so a captured item arrives with real context instead of a bare link. Inside the Story Editor, a new Inbound Content Sources panel lets you link anchor and supporting content directly to the story you're writing.

Feedback gets richer connections

The Feedback Inbox got easier to scan and easier to connect. The source filter sidebar is more compact, with day-based chronological grouping, Today, Yesterday, X days ago, for the Most Recent view, and you can link or unlink sources, contacts, and companies directly from inbox rows, detail views, or the contact/company record itself, creating a new contact or company inline when neither exists yet. Feedback items can now carry multiple people and companies at once, and sidebar counts finally reflect the filters you've actually got active.

Feedback also got heavier. A drag-and-drop uploader handles files and screenshots with client-side compression so uploads stay fast, detail views got collapsible Raw Message and Attachments sections with image-preview fallbacks, and manual learnings support rich-text markdown editing.

KPIs and health surface faster

Metrics got more visible across the board. The Feedback Inbox picked up out-of-the-box KPI cards, Open/Closed Feedback, Open/Closed Themes, the Open/Closed Ratio, and Severity Distribution, with inline sparklines and a configuration dialog to choose which cards show and how. A new Themes/day velocity metric quantifies roadmap throughput.

Capability health picked up the same instinct. Timeline playback got smoother with lazy-loaded history, History Mode gained a "Jump to Now" control and the ability to apply day-specific overrides without touching live fields, and Evolution statuses are now configurable in Workspace settings with consistent colors and legends everywhere they appear. The Signal Catalog shows inline sparklines per row now, with a full 30-day sparkline in Signal Detail that respects each metric's polarity.

Planning reads easier

Planning controls consolidated into a single vertical list instead of being scattered around the page. Dynamic layout mode, wider spacing defaults, and per-column row limits cut down on overlapping cards, and the timeline itself got clearer: the Now marker aligns properly, weekly markers stand out, closed themes show on the left so you can see throughput, and relative-duration markers give a sense of how long something's been sitting.

Comments bring the team into feedback

Feedback items and themes can carry real conversations now. A collapsible comments drawer attaches threaded discussion to any item, with a rich-text editor that supports markdown preview, raw mode, keyboard shortcuts, and pasting a table straight from a spreadsheet. Comment history feeds into the AI assistant's context too, so a summary or exploration reflects what the team actually said, not just the raw feedback.

Navigation and polish

A broad pass on navigation and performance rounded out the week. Page controls and Configure modals are standardized across Signals, Feedback, Stories, and Capabilities, global keyboard shortcuts, including number-key quick tabs, speed up navigation, and long lists and Kanban columns now load lazily instead of all at once. Cards got a cleanup too: a consolidated stats row, unified tooltips, reordered footer metadata, and softened markdown styling.

Behind the scenes: an MCP server takes shape

Not everything this week showed up in the product. Work began on a new outcomet-mcp service, a remote MCP server for connecting outside agents to Outcomet data. This week covered the scaffolding: a Fastify service, the MCP SDK wiring, an auth context foundation, and a first pass at a safe, read-only product-context search. None of it is live for customers yet, it's early infrastructure, but it's the start of letting tools like Claude Code or Antigravity talk to a workspace directly.
