Agent Memory & Context
- Added dynamic and manual controls for memory compaction in Agent Settings and AI Preferences, including a configurable Sliding Window (N) trigger so you can decide when historical messages are summarized.
- Introduced an in-chat memory compression marker that provides an expandable summary while keeping the full conversation visible, making it easier to scan past context without losing detail.
- Improved default behavior and safeguards so Nova retains a larger recent context window before summarizing older messages, and invalid compaction configurations are prevented to avoid accidental misconfiguration.
- Fixed a timing issue that could cause memory compaction to run too early or too late during fast conversations, eliminating temporary context gaps and improving conversational continuity.
