Manage Capability links with Nova

Ask Nova in AgentChat to link or unlink Capabilities on an Initiative, or remove a Capability link from a Strategic Opportunity. Each change asks for confirmation before it runs.

When Nova inspects an Initiative workspace, it also receives the linked Capabilities and their maturity levels.

Choose the right kind of Initiative

Use a Fast-Track for a direct Problem fix, or a Routine for ongoing operational work. An ordinary Initiative keeps the goal-first workflow. You can choose the type when creating an item or change it later.

Fast-Track skips goal confirmation, Learning synthesis and formal Decision commitments. Once a linked Change completes, it moves from Work in progress to Review outcome. Routine stays Ongoing, outside the Decision Queue, with no goal or closure sections in its Brief. Each type is identified above the title, separately from its phase.

Start with a brief or a Problem

Creating an Initiative now opens a full-page Brief. Describe the work or browse the Problem catalog, exclude unwanted matches in German or English, and inspect linked Customer Jobs. The list loads progressively, draft inputs survive window focus changes, and Outcomet can suggest the title and mandate.

Confirm a goal direction directly

Selecting a suggested direction in Clarify the goal applies it immediately, including the title and matched Strategic Opportunity. Edit goal remains available afterwards. Problem fulfillment badges and the audit action appear only after a Change is linked.
