Find the right Problem, then follow the evidence

Nova and connected clients can search Problems and Capabilities with ordinary questions as well as names and identifiers. Campaigns, interview evidence, and reporting also gained more context this week. These changes were implemented, but production release has not been verified.

In this edition

Find Problems and Capabilities

  • Search Problems in German or English, including symptoms, titles, and identifiers. Status, severity, Initiative, and Demo filters narrow the results. Nova indicates when a result set may be incomplete, while connected clients show when search falls back to text matching.
  • Problem search now handles the large import case that previously timed out. Links to Problems in Nova answers, tables, and saved content open the authenticated detail even when the Problem was not on the first loaded page.
  • Capability search accepts questions, names, and technical identifiers while respecting workspace, lifecycle, and Demo boundaries. Results can show limited coverage, so an empty result is not proof that the Capability does not exist.

Work through a campaign with the contact in view

  • Large campaigns load their full member lists and stage summaries. The pipeline starts showing members before every row has rendered. Search, filters, and sorting still cover the full list.
  • Contact and Company ICP fit appears on campaign cards and rows, with the reason available on hover. Members with write access can edit fit from campaign and record details. Excluding a member as Wrong ICP can also mark the contact or company No fit and clear the pending action.
  • Member details put Log Touchpoint first, show interactions from other campaigns, and link to the contact's other active campaigns. Contact details stay in the same panel stack. Completed and closed stages no longer carry overdue follow-ups unless a new one is entered.
  • The Campaigns Reporting tab brings origin filters, KPIs, a funnel, and diagnostic callouts together. Its rates include members who moved directly to later stages and replies from open or converted members. Silent connection accepts do not count as inbound dialogue.

Inspect interview evidence and Signals

  • In an interview Brief, Speakers is read-only, while Signal Format remains editable. Signed-in users can confirm a speaker's evidence class. The Technical tab shows conversation segments and evidence details, and re-analysis asks for confirmation first.
  • Problem interviews can yield evidence about market and substitute-tool workflow pains for Problem review. Long live product walkthroughs are recognized as Solution Demos. Multi-turn interviews produce short verbatim evidence in order, and Feedback details show extraction progress while it runs. Connected-client Signals retain the client and submitting member as provenance.
  • The Signals Inbox groups and sorts records in a table that adapts to the available space. Voice and Buyer filters work together so peer, internal, and bot material remains visible. A company's voice classification applies by default unless a contact has an explicit override.
  • Granola imports notes from selected folders as access or updates arrive. Manual sync can also find older notes moved into those folders.

Review Capability suggestions before linking them

  • GitHub Change proposals use current workspace and Capability context. Direct evidence can support a match even when surrounding repository clues differ. Existing ownership and links remain, and every suggestion still needs review.
  • Suggestions distinguish changed product behavior from maintenance, database work, and edits that belong to an existing Capability. A new workflow and a separately changed existing ability can both be proposed when the evidence supports each. New suggestions need a current parent unless the workspace has no Capabilities yet.
  • Initiative suggestions show a focused set of candidates with reasons and confidence. While Capability search is being prepared, the set can be partial and asks for a manual check of other Capabilities. A long description can also limit search coverage. An empty partial result is not a complete inventory.

Connect Customer Jobs to Problems and target gains

  • Problem details let product managers define a Done When target gain and connect functional, social, or emotional Customer Jobs. The Signals Problems workspace can filter by synthesis coverage.
  • Signals reporting has separate views for Customer Jobs, Product Areas and Demand, Problems and Target Gains, and Inbox Triage. Customer Job details show related Capabilities and Problems. Counts include both open and resolved linked Problems.
  • Voice and Role breakdowns update with the selected filters while retaining the unfiltered baseline. Charts align with their scales, and Command Reporting brings signal, risk, health, and active campaign reports into one place.

Recover onboarding work and keep other sessions signed in

  • If the browser session has expired before Nova can start preparing onboarding examples, the card explains the issue and offers Sign in again. Saved onboarding data remains available.
  • If example preparation fails before processing begins, Remove demo data becomes available without a misleading removal error. The option stays on the website step so an existing demo package can be removed before choosing fallback data.
  • Signing out clears the current browser session while other active sessions for the account remain signed in.

Read reports and workspace views more easily

  • Diagnostic reports across Command Control, Signals, and Campaigns share clearer headers and card layouts. They show loading placeholders immediately, and a selected item opens beside the report on desktop screens.
  • Light and Dark views received updated canvas, table, and detail surfaces. KPI and Signal cards start compact, Feedback detail cards match Problem cards, and workspace switches and Brief and Technical tabs use segmented controls.
