In this edition
Feedback lifecycle & resolutions
- Clear separation of Status (open / closed) and fine-grained Resolution (completed / rejected / obsolete) so closures are explicit and auditable.
- New resolution option Obsolete (Retired) and rename of Won't Do to Rejected for clearer outcomes.
- Unified closure flows: changing a theme or feedback to closed triggers a Resolve Feedback dialog (and a Closure Resolution Modal when closing cards on the board) so users explicitly select the resolution and see warnings for linked work.
- Ability to customize labels for Obsolete and Rejected in Decision Vocabulary Settings.
Evidence & coverage management
- Inline coverage toggle to mark evidence chunks as covered directly from feedback and theme views; covered chunks display a clear check mark.
- Automatic parent roll-up: parent feedback auto-closes when all child evidence are covered/closed and automatically reopens if any child is reopened, keeping status aligned with underlying evidence.
- Direct chunk controls: resolve individual evidence via a simplified Resolve as... menu (Completed / Rejected / Obsolete), quick actions for Mark as Solved / Mark as Unsolved, and inline severity/type changes.
- More predictable interactions: hover/toggle targets limited to the indicator area and the feedback detail panel stays stable when statuses change.
Inbox, filters & board visibility
- Status-first filtering with primary tabs Open, Closed, and All, plus a secondary Resolution selector when viewing Closed items to filter by Completed / Rejected / Obsolete.
- Feedback cards now show simplified evidence counts as
{solved}/{total} evidenceand visually highlight inconsistencies in red (e.g., a closed parent with open children or an open parent with all children solved).
Confirmations & dialogs
- Redesigned confirmation for closing/rejecting associated evidence: clearer, scrollable 'Evidence' lists, simplified action buttons ('Cancel', 'Close/Reject feedback only', 'Close/Reject everything'), and consistent tag typography for improved readability.
